04 - Our Philosophy

Many years ago, we decided that Makrigianni, a tourist area, deserved to have an (authentic) restaurant that would be visited by both Greeks and tourists! It was an experiment! Many people told us that a restaurant for Greeks wouldn't survive in such a touristy area!

However, we persisted! We invested in food, service, wines, and staff! Today, we are pleased to have customers from all over Athens coming to discover our restaurant and our beautiful area!

Excellent in every category. The food was all I have imagined the best Greek food to be. Whenever in Athens, you must seek out this fine local restaurant. You will be astounded. Try the Greek Risotto and the Dolmades. Both are luscious, creamy, and exciting. The orzo with clams was the best dish I have had in Greece. Beyond words.

Delish! Such a quirky and unique vibe with a modern take in classic Greek favorites! Food looked like works of art with flavors to match. Chocolate tart dessert was amazing. Cocktails were fun and tasty. Thank you Pavlos for a beautiful meal and outstanding service. Such a pleasure!

It was slightly expensive compared to all restaurants on the same street but the food is on a slight fine dine kinda direction so it's OK. Food is quite good overall. I like the drssert. But water is charged so beware. Recommended if looking for interesting food.

The food was delicious, the Greek burrito. The traditional Greek starter, was something different but so tasty. The service was quick and the staff was honest and friendly.

Went here for a quick lunch after seeing some sights nearby. We tried two pizzas and loved them both. Absolutely delicious. The Greek salad we started with as well was fantastic.

We stumbled on this place walking down the Plaka after a hot day of visiting the Acropolis. They were able to seat our group of 6 for a late lunch at an outdoor table. We ordered a variety of entrees and everyone was pleased with what they had. I personally recommend the Greek Burrito (see attached.) Fun, friendly waiters and fast service. Even if you're not hungry, it is a nice, casual place to enjoy a very cold beer and watch the action on the Plaka.

Typical Greek food with a cared and cool presentation. The food was so good. We ordered greek salad, lamb and a burrito, the size of the dishes is appropiate. Maybe it's slightly expensive compared to another restaurants in the zone but completely worth. All the bartenders was very nice too. Highly recommended.
